The tree house is a great getaway for adults also, and a proof to that is this adult size tree house we want to present to you today. This beauty is build somewhere in Vail, Colorado. It seems the architect Missy Brown was also fond of the childhood tree house, and now managed to build an adult orientated, elevated living space right in the middle of the woods just like the owner of it wanted. The house is anchored to a 90 foot tree and a few fallen/dead pine trees help give it a stabilization and some extra support. The entrance to the house is made after you go up the spiral stair case, entering directly to an open living space. You can use a working desk, sleeping quarters or simply enjoy the rooftop patio that really is a delight for taking a cooling drink in a sunny summer day. For the cold days in the year, the house is equipped with an electrical baseboard that will help keeping warm.

She began analyzing thoroughly the things in her surroundings essences, from the simple fascination for certain fabrics and customs. The resulted works are a proof of monumentality combined with a strong sense of purpose. Today, we wish to discuss a furniture piece that was designed by Sophie: the Column. The column or the pillar is a structural element that transmits the weight of an above structure to other structural elements below it. In few words, the column is a compression member. Columns are often used for supporting arches or beams on which the upper parts of walls or ceilings rest. In architecture the column is a structural element that has certain proportional and decorative features, since a column might also be decorative, it not being needed for structural purposes. This seems to be the case of Sophie Mensen's Column. In her opinion, the column is a shape that can easily get absorbed by the space while it is also an impressive monument for remembering important events in one's life. Therefore, the equivalent of this column is column as a monument and as a constructive element, but in sizes that fit an interior. Ο λόγος είναι πως η Εθνική Επιτροπή Τηλεπικοινωνιών και Ταχυδρομείων (ΕΕΤΤ), προκειμένου να βάλει φρένο στη μάστιγα των κλοπών κινητών τηλεφώνων, αποφάσισε να αχρηστεύονται τα κινητά που πέφτουν στα χέρια κλεφτών και κλεπταποδόχων.

Συγκεκριμένα, από το επόμενο μήνα αναμένεται να τεθεί σε εφαρμογή ο νέος κανονισμός της ΕΕΤΤ, βάσει του οποίου οι εταιρείες κινητής τηλεφωνίας θα προχωρούν σε φραγή από το δίκτυο τους, για τα κινητά τηλέφωνα που έχουν κλαπεί. Αυτό θα συμβαίνει μόλις ο κάτοχος δηλώσει την απώλεια της συσκευής, στην εταιρεία που ανήκει. Θα δίνει τον μοναδικό κωδικό IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) που φέρει η συσκευή και τότε αυτή θα κλειδώνει ολικά και όχι σε επίπεδο sim, για όλα τα ελληνικά δίκτυα. Αυτό σημαίνει πως πλέον οι εταιρείες θα πρέπει να τηρούν λίστες, με τον αριθμό IMEI των συσκευών.
